Sales Manager

We now seek an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to head up the sales operation of DFC Technologies. The requirements for this important new position that reports directly to the President of  DFC Technologies is outlined below.

Purpose of the Role - To increase  DFC Technologies sales in the USA across a wide range of communications markets.

Responsibilities

  • Finding new customers for the DFC Technologies product range
  • Promotion and sales growth of DFC Technologies product range.
  • Develop new and existing accounts to achieve annual sales plan.
  • Responding to customer and internal sales enquires with technical and commercial assistance.
  • Preparation of quotes, including costing and pricing decisions.
  • Build customer relationships and negotiate sales.
  • Produce regular sales forecasts and marketing plans.
  • Contract and proposal writing.
  • Identify and attending relevant trade exhibitions.
  • Responsible for planning and measuring financial performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Sales experience in Satellite Equipment markets.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, applicable to all stages of the sales process.
  • Experience of the sales process for medium to high volumes and project based installations.
  • Achievement in technology systems sales.
  • Degree, or equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Physics or relevant technical subject.
  • Practical experience of RF systems design and performance.
  • Direct experience of communication technologies and markets.
  • Strong understanding of RF Electronics.
  • Flexible and highly motivated with a “hands on” approach.
